Description

The flag of Tasmania Police has a plain blue field with their badge at the centre. The badge comprises the map of Tasmania in blue and a gold lion passant guardant, the St Edward's crown, their title "Tasmania Police" in white on blue, a gold starburst, and a green laurel wreath. The badge is however different from their cap badges. Reference photo: No. 37 by Steve Lovegrove

Parade flag

The flag that is paraded by the Tasmania Police is however slightly different from the one hoisted on poles. For the parade flag, the lion is red and the island of Tasmania is represented in white. The starburst is also depicted in yellow/gold throughout. Photo reference: No. 44 by Leigh Atkinson
