Description of the flag

The municipality of Lazarevac, a part of the city of Belgrade, adopted the proposals of coat of arms and flag made by Serbian Heraldry Society.

Green and black on the shield stands for coal mining in Lazarevac area. St.Demetrius' church is displayed on the shield, as well.
