Former Symbols

The municipal website of Gójar shows a municipal flag and a municipal coat of arms. I guess these are the ancient symbols since the above source mentions the unveiling of new ones.

The (former?) flag of Gójar is horizontally divided blue-white-green (2:1:2) with the municipal coat of arms in the middle. The top of the shield lies close to the upper border of the white stripe, whereas the crown surmonting it is completely embedded into the blue stripe. Large images of the flag and arms can be downloaded from consorciosierranevadavegasur.es.
