N.P.P. the most voted party in the Presidential Elections in Ghana
with Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor as presidential candidate.
The New Patriotic Party was founded in 1992 and has for its symbol the
elephant in a red, white and blue background, which are the colours of
the Party. The results now are 99 for NPP to 92 for NDC (National
Democratic Congress) the former ruling party.

Workers of the Ghana Railway Company (GRC) throughout the country have
started flying red-flags at all installations
of the company as a sign of their threat to withdraw their services and also
embark upon massive street demonstration to protest against the delay in the
adjustment of the tariff paid by the Ghana Bauxite Company (GBC) which they
consider as meagre.

Emmanuel Enoch Agbozo, Head Pastor of the Ghana Evangelical Society
advised the president to change the flag of the country
since «its spiritual power is gone forever». A new flag,
white with a cross and a crown of thorn covering the cross, would mark the
beginning of a new Ghana, founded in God, and move the nation to its former
glory.
