Ittoqqortoormiit (in Danish, "Scorebysund") is a
village in the East Coast of Greenland, in the territory of
"Tunu" (East Greenalnd): its official name is
"Ittoqqortoormiiit Kommunea", and the Municipality
includes the villages of Ittaajirnrniit and Uunarteq. The blazon
has been drawn by me, and I copied it at <www.ittoqqortoormiit.gl>.
It represents a blue shield on a white field, with a triangle (I
think it should be the Gunnbjørns Fjeld, the talles mount of the
island with its 3.700 meters) and two strange faces (maybe of
musk oxe). If you want to know more, you can find photos and
information at <www.ittoqqortoormiit.gl>.

Yes. They are musk. In the original, their horns are visible.

Photos at <www.ittoqqortoormiit.gl>
show that only Greenland flag is in use side by side to the
municipal arms (not on flag thou...yet?), so the flag reported
above probably don't exist.
