Legnano in Milan province, Lombardy.

Legnano (lomb: Lignàn) is the city in where Lega Lombarda (Lombard League) defeated the Emperor Federico I Barbarossa in the year 1176. The Lombard soldiers were leaded by Alberto da Giussano, who has a monument in the city and is reported in the lower part of the gonfalone.
