Blue logo on white. The logo is a thick ring with an "H" inside,
linked to the ring by semi-circular shapes. Gives a distinctive yin-yang
flavour.

Quite dubious, this flag can be described as a horizontal bicolour of dark
red and blue with three white horizontal stripes dividing it into four
equilateral fields.

The shipping company 'Pan Ocean Bulk Carriers Ltd.' (POBC) was founded in Seoul in 1966. The POBC initially operated oil tankers and diversified into dry bulk tramping in 1972. A liner service was opened in 1977 to export Korean plywood and steel to the USA and Canada.
In 1984, the company was renamed 'Pan Ocean Shipping Co. Ltd.' (POSC), and merged with the 'Global Shipping Company', the 'Samick Lines' and the 'Bowwon Shipping Company'. The company charters taday c. 200 ships, fully owing 62 of them. It has 1,687 employees (shore, 454; crew, 1233).
The flag of the POSC is horizontally divided blue-white-blue with the red letters PAN in the white stripe.
