About the flag

Sable, a castle tower argent, open, litten and lined sable, on a chief or, four ears of corn grained or and leaved vert. Mural crown with four visible towers argent and white scroll reading "CASTRO DAIRE" in black capitals. Flag is quartered white and green. In my humble opinion this is one of the nicest portuguese municipal coats of arms.
