Helmsig & Grimm is the wrong name. This should read Svenska Lloyd
Rederi A/B [as is shown by Stewart], also known as Swedish
Lloyd, and was adopted about WW1 to replace the previous flag of yellow
with a blue saltire apparently to avoid confusion with the Russian Naval
Ensign.

Reut & Reuter, Onsala.
Ole Andersen, 2000-Sep-20
Hakon A Reuter. Rederi A/B Reut was one of their subsidiaries. The actual
design of their flag is uncertain as apart from this version which is nearly
supported by the Collectors Corner cap badge which does not have any white at
upper hoist or lower fly, US Navy 1961 shows white with 3 narrow blue diagonal
bands whilst Talbot Booth 1942 and 1944 show 4 white and 3 blue bands of equal
width but reverse the direction to per bend i.e. from upper hoist to lower
fly.

yellow, proportioned c. 1:4:1, yellow "S".

Joh Gorthon & Gorthon, O. Sten & Gorthon, Stig.: White with a blue circle in the centre containing two intertwined yellow stylised Gs (one reversed). I'd guess by the name, colours, and design that this is Swedish. Gorthon Rederier - Lloyd's description: White Ground; blue disc with yellow device based on G.
I have not found any source which shows the horizontal white line in the
base on the emblem which is, according to Talbot-Booth, the same as the cipher
of King Olav. Formed 1921 and according to Lloyds known as Gorthons Rederi A/B
until 1987 when it became Gorthon Lines A/B, changing in 1995 to B&N
Gorthon Lines A/B and then changing back again in 1997 to Gorthon Lines A/B.
However post WW2 they themselves initially showed the fleet under separate
headings for O. Sten Gorthon and Stig. Gorthon operating through subsidiaries.
