OK is the co-op oil company. In Sweden, their gas stations have merged with Kuwait Petroleum's.

Nowadays, these gas stations have the name "OK Q8", the logo (also used on flags) being two half circles, one blue and one red, side by side with their open ends away from each other.

Sveriges Oljekonsumenters Riksförbund was formed 1945 changing name to Oljekonsumenternas Förbund in 1963 and then later apparently to Oljeksumenterna-Ok. In 1969 the livery was changed to avoid confusion with that of ESSO with the flag becoming white bearing the large red letters "OK" angled slightly per bend sinister [see O51 attached]. Shipping operations appear to have ceased in the latter 1980s.

Letter should be blue as is shown by Stewart and judging by the badge in Collectors Corner it is a lighter blue. Company appears to have originated as Nils M. Thore pre WW2, then O.M. Thore and changed to Thore Shipping A/B [Thor Rederierna] in the early 1970s before disappearing from Lloyds.

Rederi A/B Timex operated through the 1960s under Paul Pålsson of Gothenburg. According to an article in Marine News 3/1970 it was part of the Broström group (which appears to fit as the vessels had a "Bro" prefix) and in 1966 the flag was changed to a horizontal multiband of 4 dark blue and 3 light blue stripes with a white "T" overall the 2nd to 3rd dark bands (see T282 attached) which was more in line with the Broström format. The "Timex" name would appear to unconnected with the watchmakers.
