Note on the source

Unfortunately, the main source for this group of flags in 1937, Acovic, only lists them. There is neither description nor pictures of the flags. I believe that those flags would be matching similar flags used by the Independant State of Croatia.

The masthead pennant (plamenac ratnih brodova) is prescribed in article 9 of the 1922 law. It is a long white pennant, from the middle to fly converging to a point and ending with a white tassel. The first third of the length it is in the national tricoluur colours. The ratio of the flag is 1:100.

The 1937 law kept this pennant.
