These flags are made of heavyweight 200 denier nylon with heading and brass grommets. They may be converted to indoor display with the addition of a pole hem and optional fringe.

The flag of Comoros is green with a white crescent pointing towards the fly, and four white five-pointed stars in a line between the points of the crescent. The word "Allah" is depicted in the top-fly corner and "Mohammed" in the bottom-hoist corner. The crescent, stars, and color green are traditional symbols of Islam; the four stars represent the four main islands of the archipelago—Mwali, Njazidja, Nzwani, and Mayotte.

Situated in southern Africa, Comoros is a group of islands in the Mozambique Channel, about two-thirds of the way between northern Madagascar and northern Mozambique.
